Thank you for your responses. It sounds like she is doing okay for 5 months old. For some reason, I thought she should have some adult teeth by now. My vet did say that smaller breeds tend to be slower in losing teeth and often have to have them extracted.

It makes sense to wait until all the adult teeth have come in to get her spayed, so that we know for sure if some teeth will need to be pulled. I sont wsnt hsr going undsr anesthesia more than once. Then again, there are value health reasons to get a dog spayed before her first heat. I don't think I have much choice with Tinkerbell since she is only 2 pounds at 5 months. She will be too small to spay before her first heat.
