Actually the Peti-Paws is only $19.99, and you can get it locally at stores like Walgreen's and Bed Bath and Beyond. I have a regular nail dremel that is electric, and it was closer to $100.00, but I like this better because of the nail guard, you cannot file it too short, and it would be pretty hard to get the hair in the guard area. I put a nylon stocking over his paw just to keep the hair out of the way, so I can see what I'm doing. I tried the regular dog nail clipper once, and even though they were brand new, they cut the nail jagged, while these leave a nice smooth surface.
