I see osteosarcoma more often then i'd like to and its mostly in big dogs. i work for the surgeon and we usually amputate if it hasn't spread. our patients do wonderfully after surgery. recouping is not as bad as you think. After surgery we recommend chemo. Dr Alseraf is the oncologist Kim speaks of. She is excellent. the surgeons are excellent too. i trust them 100% to tell you straight up what your options are.
