Oh he has to stay overnight? Will someone be there if he stays overnight? I read that some vets do this even though no one will be there and it's just so that the dogs aren't overly excited at home. I wouldn't mind so much if someone was there, but without anyone, I just couldn't do it, and I don't think it's safe. Some members have said that the vet finally relented and allowed them to bring the dog home. Joey was allowed to come home the same day, I'm not sure why some can, if it's because surgery is earlier in the day or what. I know this is hard for you, and my prayers are with you.
