In May of 2002 we lost our dear Maltese, Jack. We were depressed and both of us cried whenever anyone mentioned Jack. My sister's friend had a female Yorkie that she could not keep anymore and my sister told her that we would take her. I insisted that I could not love a dog again after Jack. Chuck wanted her. So, we drove 2 hrs to pick up a very dirty, matted 2 yr old. It took several baths and some trimming to find a beautiful girl under all of that mud. She had never been to a vet or had any shots and did not play. We named her Maggie (photo below) & she's been with us 6 yrs now. Rocky is her son. Then came Sunshine 4 years ago and BlackJack is her son. |
