Anyone every use the above combo for kidney disease. Well we are starting today. I printed out info on Azodyl and Epakitin (because of all the good things I read here) well Dr. said he didn't think Epak would be good b/c of high calcuim and he didn't know too much about Azodyl...(he is researching)
Ok, so he is giving me Carafate, from what i've read on it, is that it's good for ulcer and a phropous binder, I'll buy that, Since her numbers are high) but never read anyone talk about that particuliar med....Anyone out there??? If so any side effects, my dog isn't eating right now but I'm sure in a day she *fingers crossed* should be back to her normal self...Just thought I'd ask.
My dog is 14.5 yr old
