Don't really know about allergies but can tell you that Cowboy was always runny eyed and frail looking. Now I feed people food and his eyes don't run at all and he is so full of energy. I am so amazed at the difference. I was constantly having to wash the goopy gunk from his face a hundred times a day and now I never do. He just gets his regular baths when he needs them and NO eye gunkies at ALL!!!!!! NONE!!!!
