Breny- No way can I jump in and get two. I'm really nervous just thinking about raising one. I'm afraid I'm going to do everything wrong. I think I want to get a puppy first, then get one that's a year or so old (as I think someone mentioned). How does that sound?

Thanks ladies for your comments!

Februrary will be here before you know it! You are wise to start researching and looking now. 2 websites that will recommend breeders in your area are the American Kennel Club and the Yorksire Terrier Club of America Yorkshire Terrier Club of America I found my local breeder through the Kennel Club I am getting my 2nd yorkie from her. The quality is excellent. She's in SC so I don't know if you want to go that far for your dog. If you want her website let me know. She breeds for show quality dogs, selling the dog is secondary her focus is on quality. My current yorkie, which I got from her, is a retired champion show dog.
