She knows better, she just doesn't listen to her gut instinct when she goes to the door sigh.
You're right she is still young, but remember when they have an "accident" it's actually your fault; you should have opened the door sooner. I think putting a pad by the door might be a possible solution, or take her out more often. Some people train the dog to use a bell, but this usually takes a couple of weeks of consistent training. She will start doing better in a month or two, and you will forget what all the fuss was about.
