Has anyone been in our position where IVs had to be used to reduce BUNs in the hundreds to an acceptable level...then turn around and do that at home? And do dogs in this dire situation last for a long time if the intial near death experience is reversed?? Frankly, I want to know if my guys numbers continue to come back down and we do the sub-q at home, is it possible to lead a comfortable life for months or a year?? |
