Cephalic (front leg) -- The last time Dr. Amy drew blood from one of my kids - it was little Hattie and she didn't even flinch. Generally the assistant holds my kids securely against their chest and uses one hand to shield the baby from seeing what is going on. I stand at their head and talk to them. Dr. Amy gets her business done quickly and efficiently and usually there is no fuss. |
