I agree that it takes a bit of time to get a furbaby to realise what you want him to do. I know that it's not so nice for us in the winter, that's when we trained Max, but it's worth it. I now trust Max 100%. He goes after he's sniffed and positioned himself as he deems fit, only now it's it's on command.

I've consistently trained him to "be quick" good boy", I repeat these words all the time. It usually takes less than five minutes.
