Well i have one of those wire brushes and a little comb that i use on scarlet at least every other night. I definately try to stay on top of the whole grooming thing. Notice I say try! Scarlet absolutely hates it when i brush her. She makes a schreeching noise and almost like a yelping noise. She acts like im hurting her or something and I go really slow and am super carefull to make sure I dont pull her hair. When i took her to the groomers a couple of weeks ago she used the same kind of brush and said that it wont hurt her. But im confused, am i really hurting her or is she simply distraught and want her own way? Im wondering do any of your dogs do this and what would you suggest i do. Do you think that she will ever get to the point that she will like me beautifying her. LOL
