hi. im actually writing on behalf of a friend. Her dog is 1yr old named Max. hes a good dog, well trained. but recently hes been chewing up everything in her apt. He chewed up her $300 pair of shoes and boxes , furniture etc.... She has tried the bitter apple spray but that didnt work at all

I asked her if she changed her schedule, if hes home alone more lately, etc... but nothing has changed lately. Hes 1 yr old so hes not teething...

I suggested a trainer and get new toys (he might be bored) and take him out on long walks in the morning so hes tired during the day. But does anyone else have this problem. it sort of happened out of nowhere according to her.

Any input or past experience would be really helpful. Thnx yorkietalk! =)
