You really need to stay out there as long as it takes the first few times to get him to go out there so he knows that is where you really want him to go. Another good thing would be to place a piece of his poo outside where you want him to go so he knows that is where it goes. Once you really get full on training him if you want to remove the pad from the house then you need to keep an eagle eye on him and watch for the bathroom signs and just take him out regularly. It will be quite some time before your accident free and also before you can trust him totally. I think training goes faster if your a stay at home owner and can stay totally on top of it.

Lots of praise and consistence is all I can tell you.

Zoey is a year and almost a month and will have an accident here and there still. Toby is coming along but has to be watched too. Yorkies and toy dogs in general I think are hardheaded.
