I was seriously considering getting either a maltese or yorkie after college, but as the years passed by I was leaning more towards the yorkie. I love their looks. In addition, their small size and not shedding was definitely a plus. It was just the matter of convincing DH. However, once we bought the house, there was no excuse not to get one.
