My german shepherd was given up because his ears didn't stand up and his first owner thought he looked like a mutt instead of a purebred. Now THAT is a sorry excuse of a person in my mind. But this college student considered all of the facts and even though it hurt like the dickens she was looking out for that puppy. Three cheers for her logical thinking!
By the way, Ivan is a wonderful dog and he loves the little ones soooo much. I think he would die protecting them. You can see in my avatar how gentle he is. That is a picture of him and Adie when she was a wee little girl. |
