Yorkiegurl, since he is treat-motivated, he might respond nicely to clicker training. You might want to check out that thread.
Hamoth, when you put your dog in a 5 minute stay, does he get treats along the way or only at the end of that time? I know you gradually build up to it, but right now, it's hard to imagine my puppy being able to hold a stay for that long! |
