She is getting spayed, microchipped and two baby teeth taken out tomorrow. Leaving her there was so darned hard I just wanted to cry and I am having to constantly keep myself busy this evening so I don't dwell on the thought that she is there in a cage problely thinking about what she could have possibly done wrong to get herself in this kind of trouble!!!!! This "empty" feeling I have now is I believe worse than I have felt in a long time. I want to go to the vets office and camp out on their sidewalk!! She will be gone tonite and also tomorrow nite and I will pick her up on Thursday hopefully barring no complications. My daughters little yorkies Teddy and Maxie are here and do not understand where their playmate and sleeping buddy is. They keep looking for her and giving me that long sad look like what happened??? So keep this "nervous nellie" mom in your thoughts for the next day or so. I hope she will come home in not much pain and able to stay with Teddy and Maxie. Hope I do not have to keep her confined away from them!!! Anyone else been thru this, how did your baby do and how did you handle it? This is harder than with real children!!!!!
I was reading your post, and smiling, I think I would feel the same way,we moms tend to be " a bit" over protective"but she'll be OK.She'll be back in no time and everything will be fine, it's only normal you feel this way, get a good night sleep, and before you know it she'll be home>let us know how everything went.Good thoughts going your way
