If I ever get another male, he'll be neutered as soon as I get him at 12 weeks. I would LOVE for the breeder to have it done before bringing the puppy home. It sounds like you found a breeder that truly cares about their pups and making sure they aren't used by backyard breeders & puppymills. I know some great breeders that spay and neuter early before placing. My cat was spayed at 16 weeks before I was able to bring her home with no issues...I think early spaying and neutering is a good thing. I wish more breeders would do it before placing their puppies..it sure would stop a lot of pets from being bred

Purchasing from backyard breeders, pet shops, and puppymills perpetuates the suffering of other dogs.
Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
