Default Dry eye

Trinket also has a dry eye. I take her to an opthamologist every 6 months. Her treatment consists of a salve, Tacroulimus, 2 x's a day, and pilocarpine orally 2x' a week. It is usually a genetic disorder that deminishes most secretions. The pilocarpine acts on the sympathatic system and increases the secretion. It is a life long event but Trinket doesn't seem to mind. I will tell you this, I was taking her to a vet that almost cost her an eye with bad treatment. It took a dog opthamologist to get tears flowing in her eyes again, of course that is with medication adjustments along the way.

Trinket and I wish your baby health and please keep us informed as to progress.
