Dogs don't use the spoken language to communicate.... they are all about body language. They understand tone and inflection more than words, although they DO learn the meaning of lots of human words - treat, outside, come, sit stay, and their name.
If you don't like her name it will be reflected in your posture and voice every time you use it. I'd make the switch to a name that I liked and enjoyed saying. |
