My mother was babysitting Dexter (11 mo. old) and she let him out. He ran into traffic and was hit by a car. After the surgery to save him. He started biting both of us daily w/o provocation. He would just jump up and bite my mom. She's a diabetic and several times her bites became infected. Since being hit by the car I can no longer bath him he tries to destroy the bathroom and bite off my hand. He was showing a lot of aggression. I tried to contact the breeder to find out about his parents/siblings to see if they showed this aggression. That's when I found out that the email address for breeder and cell phone numbers for anypet.com brokers no longer worked. I contacted a pet behaviorist and a trainer and worked with them to control Dexter. Now he is very sweet. |
