on an Unemotional level i think sometimes paying more at first for a really healthy baby will help out more in the long run, that way you arent paying vet bill after vet bill for health problems that sometimes occur with bad breeding.
on an Emotional level any puppy you want to take home and make yours whether its purebred, mixed, free or 1,000,000 dollars will be such a joy in your life

so do you think it's not so bad buying puppies out of state? i was getting my hand slapped for doing that. what are everyone's thoughts? it's true, buying a puppy in los angeles is so expensive!
