I'm all moved back to the whelping area with her. She is breathing harder but not panting yet. She looks really uncomfortable though. Has been digging a little but not too much.
I've been in here rubbing her tummy and when she has a contraction, she stares at me and my hands and growls like "DO NOT %&@%*# touch me!" (and she just doesn't do that) and then, when the contraction is over, she leans over really slow and apologetic and looks at me with those teary and glassy little eyes. You know the look, Yorkies have it down pat. But it's so sad and breaking my heart for her! AND this isn't the hard part!
