Ooopsie, I misread your post. I thought that he was lifting and you were waiting for him to stop.

With him not lifting now, are you saying that you're pleased and want to know whether he will start after 1 yr old?

Or are you wanting him to lift, so he does not get any urine on his fur? If it's the latter, there have been some great threads in the grooming section about the best cuts, how far to shave etc to minimize pee-fur
