one breeder told me that more people ask her for girls that boys. Most often b/c they can be dressed up, but also b/c some people think that girls can be more easily housetrained or are more affectionate (which we know isn't necessary true -- dogs have different personalities and out little boys can also be dressed to the nines!) |
I hate that supply and demand thing. I really have no problem placing my boys. But, then I only have maybe a litter a year and pretty much have homes prior to the breeding taking place.
