If it is liver shunt you really don't want to wait to get a diagnosis...the sooner treated...the better. The longer the condition goes...the worse the damage could be to her liver.

She has been on Science Diet up until the middle of last week, then I switched her to Purina Puppy Chow. I asked the vet if this could have been the case, but he said no. She seems to be eating and using the potty just fine. That is why I have decided to wait, I wanted to monitor her closer to see if there was a big difference and if I had noticed symptoms of liver shunt. The vet had initially said that he believes it is more of a neurological problem than a liver shunt issue (with her problems right now), but he said we wouldnt know right off. She has lost almost, if not all of her vision. It's just sooo sad to see her this way...
