Hey there! So after adopting Kobe - we noticed this gooey greenish mucous in his eyes and we found out at his first well visit that he doesn't produce any tears. We will forever have to administer drops to his eyes at least twice a day. Anyone else going through the same thing? How can you not produce tears? I sometimes wonder if this is why his owner relinquished him, maybe it was too much for her to handle? I'll say this much, I saw him listed a day before I found him and she nonchalantly said that he was adopted. My Kobe was the very same dog that as listed on petfinder.org and same owner.
Anywho, anyone else going through this? We received two referrals with the same outcome. He can see fine, we just have to clean out that gooky stuff each morning and before he goes to bed. It can get pretty cloudy for him at times and his poor eyes are always super red. I wish he didn't have to go through that!
