It is not the size it is the age.
So one hour for every month old is the usual way it goes.
Some dogs mature more slowly and some have systems not set up to go that long.
Best bet is to figure out just how long yours can hold it and knock off an hour. So it she has an acccident at 8 hours then make sure your home in 7. Or if she can only hold it for an hour you need to be around every half hour. Or use pee pads.
