Take it from me...as soon as you get the dog bathe her in an anti-bacterial shampoo and let it set for 15 minutes.
I bought a male and brought him in and all of my dogs got violently ill. He carried in a bacteria from the breeders home that my dogs just could not tolerate. Cost me over $400. in vet bills to get my dogs well again. You don't want to risk that with your pups.
I'm not saying that bathing in the anti-bacterial is a cure all, but I sure wish I had thought of it then. It may have saved us alot of greif.
