Your "friend" clearly overstepped here!....This was none of her concern and she was never asked to watch him....Even if you had ashed her to keep an eye on him, spanking a dog is abusive.....That pup had no idea why he was being hit!......All she conveyed to him was pain and confusion.....If a pup is not corrected immediately while in the process of pottying or seconds after there is no connection to the correction.....Spanking is not the correct way to housebreak a pup......I hope you tell her to never touch your pup again it is your concern and you will take care of it.....I swear.....some people!!
