And just out of curiousity, exactly how did his old toys get to be in such bad shape? Because they WERE his favorites? He probably feels like it is reunion with old buddies time, and are you jumping in to join the party? Heck no - you are trying to break it up! As for the shelter toys - they smell so clean and new - what boy could pass up the temptation to break them in again and put his scent all over them??? And another thing - why is poor little Eddie having to throw a fit? Could it be that his dad isn't listening to him unless he does? It sounds to me like he is trying to communicate and someone isn't listening very well! Hang tough Eddie. Be strong. Call in your reinforcements. Our thoughts are with you. |
