I used to really not like a yorkie with a full tail, they looked odd to me and just very different. After living with two I adore them and would love to see our standard worded to allow either or, which would be very nice for our friends overseas who would like to send their dogs here to compete too! |
I'm with you, I love the Padawi's dogs. I have a New Deal male and his tail bothered me at first but now I really like it. I didn't realize how much expression it would add to his personality.
I still like the very compact look of the docked tail, and it's hard to relate how important that profile is when judging movement and overall balance. I do think the docked tail is more in keeping with the original purpose of the breed.
