If you really want to use something with Ivermectin and your vet says it is okay, go for it. It should be okay but watch closely.
I don't like Revolution because the heartworm protection from it is questionable and there "may" be a higher death rate than with Heartgard and Interceptor.
Since you do live in Kentucky, you might want to get the test done now and start sooner than in a week to be safe.
Any good vet should write you a prescription if they don't carry the medicine that you need and they feel it is safe...
I think Tri-Heart Plus is about the same as Heartgard Plus but they differ in flavor. |
