Marci... the vet may be just monitoring a previous high Lipase... this can relate to many different things.. or nothing abnormal. Remember tests, depending on the sample, could be erroneous ...as simple as an incorrect technique in drawing the specimen. Just hang in there and it may be absolutely nothing! I work in a lab and we have false positives on lots of different testing... which is why a lot of samples are repeated. Layla is such a beauty and if there is something amiss, the vet will treat it accordingly. Medicine has thank god come so far!
