She said she seen it move....the vet said that most likely the uterus contracted and moved the pup not the pup moving on its own. I had to have been gone for at least 5 days according to the vet.
But I still don't understand why it took them almost 11 hours from the time we got there until the time they did surgery. I know they said they were not concerned with mom at all, but what if that puppy was still alive....the wait would have definitely killed her.
This is one of those lessons to be learned for anyone who is ever thinking of breeding....DON'T.
