Think about it this way....well, what makes more sense?! If you give dry kibble, its gonna cause them to really bite into it, (sorta like a toothbrush) so it will help pull away that plaque and tarter, right!? well, wet food will just add to it. I'm not one for wet food, but since your mixing it, it shouldnt be that bad.... But, if you notice a lot of buildup, more than likely bones, brushing, or better smelling breathe aids arent going to do justice...a good dental cleaning is key, and after that you can try to brush the teeth---like ive said before terriers in general are prone to having bad teeth..
