Ok, So I've had Zoe now for about 3 weeks. When I first got in touch with the breeder she mentioned she had a bit of a runny nose but that she thought she would be ok. Well, the vet said I had to wait because she was congested. I had to wait about 2 weeks. She got better and finally I was able to take her. Well, when I got her she was coughing and sneezing constantly. Sounded like she was choking or had something stuck in her throat. I continued to give her Clavamox (I think that's how you spell it) and she seemed to get better and then it would come back. I took her to the vet for her shots and she gave me a cough suppresent. I gave that to her and it seemed to get better and then again, it would come back. I had to go back to the vet and get another round of cough suppresents. Well, now I am almost done with the Clavamox so I took her in on Friday and the vet said she seems to be getting better and just to finish the clavamox and after that just keep an eye on her. Well, now she is coughing and sneezing AGAIN. It's so frustrating. I don't know what to do. She will stop and just cough, and cough and cough. She sounds congested but the vet said she wasn't. I've read that it takes a while for their colds to go away but Sheesh. It's nerve wrecking.
Especially since I have to work and only come see her during lunch.
Has anyone else gone thru this? Any suggestions?
