From what I understand the mothers eat their young's "waste" to keep it from preditors, that part I can understand but what I don't get is why the young, when they get older eat, it too, even males. I don't think it is healthy for them to do this because there is no telling what they are recycling and what kind of germs and such is in it, especially if they eat another dog's waste.
