Like "Lovely" said....after you get him to go potty on the pad....then you can make sure to have a pad outside of the crate area.....and then just slowly move it to the door......so eventually he's going to the door to go potty...and you can eventually remove the pads....still make sure to take him outside to go potty...and always use the same door...
We just got a 1 yr. old yorkie that was NOT really trained .....we tried this method and she understood pretty quickly! Good luck..and that's AWESOME that you saved him!!! |
