We plan on evacuating on Wed. and heading towards Ft. Worth. I'll spend tomorrow moving what I can from the lower floor to the upstairs. Even if Galveston doesn't take a direct hit, Houston is in the middle of the "cone" and I don't see how we could escape much. Oh well, let's face it...what's most important is our family. Let's see, there my husband, my nine-year-old son, and my two yorkies. Yep...that covers it! Luckily, I have a large SUV and we'll load it down with necessities and off we'll go!!!!!!! | what about Waco? Do you think that would be safe enough? I've only lived on the coast for 4 years and am not use to this kind of weather. IT TOTALLY FREAKS ME OUT! |
