We plan on evacuating on Wed. and heading towards Ft. Worth. I'll spend tomorrow moving what I can from the lower floor to the upstairs. Even if Galveston doesn't take a direct hit, Houston is in the middle of the "cone" and I don't see how we could escape much. Oh well, let's face it...what's most important is our family. Let's see, there my husband, my nine-year-old son, and my two yorkies. Yep...that covers it! Luckily, I have a large SUV and we'll load it down with necessities and off we'll go!!!!!!!

what about Waco? Do you think that would be safe enough? I've only lived on the coast for 4 years and am not use to this kind of weather. IT TOTALLY FREAKS ME OUT!
