I had a maltipoo that managed to chew her collar, when a puppy is going through that teething stage ANYthing is suceptible to being chewed. I agree with the previous post if they can chew the collar they can choke or hang themselves. Also use a harness instead of a collar because most Yorkies necks are too fragile for a collar; and never use a collar or harness except when you are attaching a leash to it and taking them for a walk. Leave it off around the house because they can get caught on anything and get hurt. Finally don't be angry at your puppy acting like a puppy. We are responsible for keeping them out of harms way. |
