one time my husband had taken our oldest rat terrier squirrel hunting and he said over in the brush on the way home trooper (the dog) was barking and barking. He told him to come on and he went to see what he was barking at. Well he seen the dog and the skunk with his tail in the air....he yelled at my son that was 11 at the time RUN! well i guess trooper got all excited and took off running with them. I don't know how he didn't get sprayed by that skunk.
it was a funny story.
