My computer messed up - could not type - before I could finish. I also wanted to mention that a stud will affect so many pups than a female will and will pass on his genes many times over. So it is so important you know his pedigree and quality of his ancestors, as well as his quality to the standard, and his health issues/quality before using him as a stud. Has he been evaluted by other experts, since as their mom we can wear "rose color" glasses and not as informed or bais. Then it is so important to know the quality in all areas of the females he may bred to before breeding
Not to mention, once he is used as a stud he may prefer to mark his territory a lot!
