My yourkie "Tabitha" has little bumps under her chin and around her mouth. I think they might be ingrown hairs because the vets have ruled everything else out except possible allergies. Anyway, she is constatnly scratching at them sometimes so hard it makes her cry. I have been rubbing Cortaid on it and giving her a 1/4 tablet for itching that the vet gave her. Does anyone know of an over the counter cream that is better than Cortaid? Some days it seems to work and other days it doesn't make a difference.

Also, do yo think if it's ingrown hairs they can remove them?? There seems to be a couple of black hairs on her neck where she is always scratching and they are the only dark hairs on her neck.
