So funny how my "social life" has changed since Maya. First all ,before her, I didn't have one

. Now I look for anything and everything we can do together.
My next door neighbors are real big in the Keeshond rescue society and they informed me that there was a dog expo in Memphis yesterday. I've been looking forward to this for weeks now, and sent Maya to the hair dresser yesterday to get all pretty.
I couldn't even sleep the whole night, and got up to do my walking and get her ready.
I put on her little pink t-shirt and ribbon and off we went.
This was my first one, but I could tell that what my neigbhor said was true, the economy has hit everything

Most of the Florida and Texas vendors passed this year, and in an effort to make it look bigger they just spread a few out in a very large space.
There were only two booths that sold pretty dog clothes. I looked at this one dress that was TO DIE FOR!!!!!!!!!! but it cost $149.99. The lady went on to explain that it was by some designer (name eludes me). I just can't spend that on a dress for a dog, but it was a knock out I tell you.
I told everyone I met with a yorkie to come to yorkie talk.com (none of them had heard about it). I hope they do it.
The lady with the expensive dress, had a yorkie to die for and so did her friend. Here are the pictures.
On the three picture, that's Maya in the middle.
These were some nice folks, and I told her she could probably sell her custom bows and dresses here well.
The other exciting thing that happened is someone had this huge great Dane. Of course Maya was not intimidated at all and went nose to nose with it. This professional photographer who had a booth nearby saw it and asked me and the lady for our information He wants them in the studio to recreate the moment and put it in his next book. How exciting....Maya the professional model. We only sign autographs on Wednesday
