I just took my maltese to a board certified dentist and she said never give your dog something for chewing that if you hit your shin bone and it hurts they can break their teeth and she sees many dogs with broken teeth from bones, sticks and rocks.
Also some breeds have higher content of fat in their blood already such as yorkies so do not give anything with high fat content --- no pig ears either |
