I got my puppy when he was 12 weeks old. And started trying to put him the bathroom and train him with puppy pads. It was a disaster for like a month. Every day I had to come home from work and clean.

I emailed a local doggie daycare and they emailed me a info page on different methods of potty training. We found the quickest and most effective way was kennel training. I know-I felt bad for putting him in there at first cuz at first he didnt even get it and had accidents for like the first week, but like the first day we put him in it and started the routine, he went to the door!! I just checked and unfortinately they got a new website and did not put this back up. Here is a simular article on crate training:

or house training:

I'd definately recommend crate training though. Although I hated to leave Teddy in a small confinded area like that, I had him fully potty trained like like 5 months old (like no accidents at all). It takes alot of patience, but I will definately be worth it in the end. Now he's out in the open of the bathroom and I don't have to worry about him going to the bathroom anymore!
