Use more than one pad. Spread out 2 to four pads side by side. Sometimes they miss and also dogs don't like to urinate over or near the same spot they used before. You can also use an odor neutralizer on the floor where they are having the accident to get the urine scent out of that area. Winter's coming I think in a few months you'll be glad to use the pad instead of truging in the snow especially at 6 or 7 in the morning... don't give up... My five yr old is paper trained and she still have hit and miss moments but I wouldn't trade in the pads for grass at all!

I do that, too. I keep two 24" X 36" pads next to one another so Lady has plenty of room to circle.
